Silverstone has submitted a development application for the construction of a 12-story healthcare services building at 10 Edmondstone Street, South Brisbane.

The project was designed by Mode Architecture and has a total construction area of 9,385 square meters.

The $150 million building also includes a 309-square-meter rooftop terrace recreation area on the 13th floor, as well as terminal bicycle facilities required by the council, including 48 bicycles, 96 lockers and 7 showers.

According to the development application, the tower is surrounded by 2m high-view glass to make the most of the daylighting in the leased space.

The net-shaped screens of the tower's podium will be combined with landscape balconies and plants to create a green base for the tower.

Creative lighting will also be used through lighting architectural elements to achieve a pleasing presence and enhance the streetscape of Edmondstone.

In May last year, Silverstone Circuit proposed a similar medical service development project for 525 Boundary Street, Spring Hill.
